MAKINO DIE/MOLD TECHNOLOGIES EXPO . . . COME DISCOVER THE SECRETS OF SUCCESS NOVEMBER 6-7, 2003
AUBURN HILLS, OH – Makino, the premier builder of horizontal and vertical machining centers, RAM and wire EDM machines and graphite milling machines in the world, is bringing together the leaders of the die/mold industry under one roof for a two-day exposition. The "Trades Secrets" of success will be uncovered at the Die/Mold Technologies headquarters in Auburn Hills, Michigan, November 6 - 7.

A dinner and reception is planned at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum on the evening of November 6, with door prizes and certificates awarded throughout the event.
Makino Machinery The exposition will provide visitors with the opportunity to see and learn about the latest machines, materials, tools and processes and to speak with the industrys leading experts about their specific needs. Makino will be demonstrating new machines and highlighting new technology intended to help customers drive out manufacturing costs and successfully compete in the global marketplace.
Attendees will see firsthand Makino machine demonstrations from the MCC2013 horizontal machining center to the new S56 vertical machining center, and from the EDGE3S RAM EDM machine to the new SP64 wire EDM. Other Makino machines on operational display at the exposition include the KE55, SNC64, V33, V56, EDNC65S, EDNC85, EDNC157S, U86, SP43 and U32i.
Technology Sessions
Structured presentations by Makino and industry leaders will be offered on topics such as: Rapid Tooling Revolution; EDMill–Wire EDM & High Speed Milling Process Solutions; Conquering Hardmilling: The New Milling Frontier; EDM Lead Time Compression Technologies; and Financing Advantages and Tax Benefits of 2003. Specific times will be posted at the exposition.
The Makino Die/Mold Headquarters is located at 2600 Superior Court in the Auburn Hills Business Park, Auburn Hills, Michigan 48326. The building is at Superior and Lapeer roads (M-24), just one mile from I-75 and M-24 off E. Walton Boulevard. It is only 31 miles from the Greater Detroit Airport, and is near The Palace at Auburn Hills, which is a major sports and exposition venue in the area.
