MAKINO INTRODUCES NEW 5-AXIS ROTARY TABLE
Versatile Option for 1-Series Horizontal Machining Centers
MASON, OH — March 2006 — The dynamic 1-Series horizontal machining centers (HMCs) from Makino are now available with a 5-axis rotary table (5XR) designated option. This 5XR option is ideal for manufacturing applications that require maximum throughput and reliability.
This versatile 5XR control specification is currently available on the Makino a51, a61 and a71 machines. It can help any sized operation concentrate machining processes for multi-face jobs, intricately shaped parts and for machining the cutter body.
This 5XR option enhances the compact 1-Series workhorse line, as well as Makino’s superior out-of-cut technology. This will help further reduce part cycle times and built-in reliability that minimizes or even eliminates traditional maintenance costs.
