than two decades of successful installations, Makino has delivered more
turnkey engineering solutions than any other OEM machine tool company.
This Webinar will show you how focused, expert project management will
start you up on schedule. It will also detail what to look for in a
supplier and the importance of a successful supplier-manufacturer
relationship.
May 10 -
Flexible Aerospace Grinding and the New G5 HMC - Discover newfound
efficiencies in applications involving difficult-to-machine materials
and extraordinary finish requirements. Real case studies will
illustrate how this new 5-axis, multi-tasking machine overcomes
traditional limitations to remove non-value-added time in the
manufacturing process.
May
17 - Tool Selection for High-Performance Hardmilling - In this Webinar,
Makino shares their industry-leading hardmilling tooling test results
with you, demonstrating what works, what doesn’t, and what technology
you need to successfully machine 50+ HRc.

tools to increase productivity by using logic, hardware, and software.
See how a tool monitoring system can seamlessly select spare tools,
handle broken tool issues, and track tool history to increase
efficiency. Learn the benefits of tool monitoring to decrease
consumable costs and increase efficiency. Makino will show you how to
create "smart" processes by using part probing to improve quality, and
decrease operator dependency.
June
7 - Buyer beware. Are specifications really what they seem? - When
buying a machining center, you’re bombarded with specs. What do they
really mean, and how do the inconsistent ways of measuring performance
truly stack up?
June
14 - Fixture Design for Automation - One of the primary ingredients of
an automated system is an efficient, reliable fixture. In this Webinar,
Makino will discuss what you should look for in production workholding
for automated cells and systems.
June
21 - Equipment ROI: Machining Cells and Management Systems - To
maximize the efficiency of their equipment, many are considering
machining cells and management systems. In this seminar, we will
discuss the advantages and features of the Makino Machining Complex
(MMC2) palletized part delivery system and Makino's Advanced System
(MAS) cell controller software. MMC2/MAS systems reduce setup time and
automate your production, whether you have a low or high mix of part
types. This seminar will explain how Makino’s MMC2/MAS systems can help
you achieve greater productivity.
