EDCAM Professional is a software based technology designed specifically to
assemble the necessary data required to produce the NC program for the Makino
Ram EDM machine controller. This software is designed to dramatically reduce
overall programming time as well as eliminating fundamental input errors
associated with manual numerical input. This software contains comprehensive EDM
technology (knowledge) required to produce optimum results from the Makino Ram
EDM products.
In the process of job and program creation, EDCAM
Professional will assist in the assembly of the various types of data required
for the final NC data creation, including the acceptance of many standard CAD
translators. By eliminating numerical input requirements, and by providing
efficient EDM burning parameters, EDCAM will compile accurate NC programs
quickly and concisely, thus eliminating the need for costly dry run processing.
