With its high-speed and superb accuracy, the J4M delivers optimum technology for simple, cost-effective machining lines. An innovative space- and energy-saving design adds to its flexibility. Designed for Flexible Transfer Lines, the J4M is primarily intended for the economic machining of aluminum parts such as cylinder heads and crankcases for 4 cylinder motors, gearboxes and attaching parts. The machine can be easily integrated into different automation concepts due to its three axes in the tool and a 4th NC axis in the table.

Additional Information
  • The J4M is an advancement of the machines of the J-series with more than 500 machines in operation worldwide.
  • With a spindle speed of 16,000 rpm, an axis travel of 60 mm/min and an acceleration of 1.2 g, the machine is primarily intended for the economic machining of aluminium parts such as cylinder heads and crankcases for 4 cylinder motors, gearboxes and attaching parts. One of the specialties of this machine is the additional tool magazine for the use of the special tools in connection with the W axis in the table. It is thus possible to handle hydrostatically mounted boring bars for camshaft and crankshaft bearing seats with a length of up to 700 mm as well as 3D chucking mechanism gang arbour heads for the machining of bearing seats inside the machine. Additional (special) machines are no longer needed.

  • An optimised machine structure is the basis for high productivity, machining accuracy and process capability.
