Makino 5-Axis Vertical Machining Centers

5-axis vertical machining allows you to generate intricately shaped parts and process jobs involving multiface machining. Makino 5-axis vertical machining centers allow you to do that and much more.

Die and mold shops seeking a full 5-axis simultaneous milling answer for intricate 3-D shapes can now look toward the MakinoV33-5XB 5-axis vertical machining center. It’s the newest 5-axis vertical machining solution for die/mold applications. The V33-5XB provides one-setup access to complex, multiple-sided parts, reducing handling and costs. The 5-axis vertical machining center can also be used in the more traditional “3+2” mode for blending and matching complicated multiplane surfaces typical of die/mold production.

Offering precedent-setting precision, the V55-5XA 5-axis vertical machining center is designed for streamlined machining of intricately shaped parts and jobs involving multi-faced machining. Its 5-axis capability creates greater spindle access to the part. This allows the production of highly detailed workpieces with a high degree of accuracy, making it ideal for machining aerospace and turbo machinery components, as well as complex dies and molds. The V55-5XA lets you machine a wide variety of materials, including steel, cast iron, aluminum, stainless steel, titanium, and inconel.
