a81M SPECIFICATIONS

a81M Horizontal Machining Center

The a81M Horizontal Machining Center is designed for machining tough and hard materials. It is ideally suited for large diameter boring and face milling on such materials as stainless steel, titanium alloys, ductile iron, cast iron and CGI. The integral drive, high torque spindle (740 lb. ft.) provides many advantages over the traditional gear-head design. Elimination of gears and shafts allows greater efficiency transferring horsepower and torque to the cutting tool. The low inertia spindle design slashes cycle times due to fast spindle acceleration for drill and tap operations.
