Proper selection and economics of lift-up chip conveyors

Proper selection and economics of lift‑up chip conveyors

With a variety of materials (i.e.: steel, cast iron, aluminum, non-metallic, mixed, etc.), associated chip configurations (i.e.: long & curly, stringy, “bird-nests”, broken, etc.) and coolants in today’s manufacturing environment, selecting the “right” lift-up chip conveyor (LUCC) can be a challenge. This webinar addresses the major factors (i.e.: material, chip types, volumes, coolant, filtration, maintenance, etc.) that must be considered when selecting a LUCC for metal cutting applications. Various different LUCC designs (i.e.: Hinged-belt, scraper, magnetic, combination, etc.) and the associated economics will also be discussed.
