Content is based on specific skill sets and objectives and is designed to transfer a working knowledge and understanding of the machine tool system and related processes.

Training covers standard production processes like maintenance, operations and programming. Classes focus on a range of machines, including Vertical Machining Centers (VMC), Horizontal Machining Centers (HMC), Graphite Machining Centers, Ram EDM, Wire EDM and EDM Hole Drilling.

Quick Learn Sessions

Makino's online Quick Learn sessions are designed to enhance the knowledge of maintenance technicians and operators. These short 45 minute live sessions make it easy for our customers to participate and engage with our Makino Technical Training Team.
 
Session topics are based on the feedback from our customers. Our mission is to provide additional troubleshooting and diagnostic tools for issues our customers face on a daily basis. Each topic comes in a series with each session building on the next. This allows for flexibility and spacing between sessions to maximize long term information retention.
 
Students will be able to interact with an instructor to get answers to questions. Once the session ends, students will be provided with an open Q&A live session to focus on their particular circumstances.

Training Centers and Credits

Training centers are located in Mason, OH; Auburn Hills, MI; and Querétaro, Mexico.

Makino training credits may come with the machine you buy, based on the machine type and the purchase agreement. You’ll have a full year to use these credits. Above and beyond the credits, we can always set up tuition-based training for your team.
