Carlos Eduardo Ibrahim Joins Makino as Latin America Managing Director

Mason, Ohio – November 22, 2013 – Makino announces the appointment of Carlos Eduardo Ibrahim to the position of Latin America managing director. Ibrahim, who is based in São Paulo, Brazil, joined Makino in August and is slated to lead expansion efforts for Makino in the Latin American market, increasing product and service availability.

Ibrahim has spent over 23 years working within the machine tool industry, leading national sales, distribution and training. He received his master’s degree in business administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo, Brazil. Ibrahim also holds a postgraduate degree in industrial management from the Universidade de São Paulo, a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Universidade Metodista de Piracicaba, and a bachelor’s degree in process engineering from Faculdade de tecnologia de Sorocaba. He is fluent in his native Portuguese, English and Spanish.
