MAG3 SPECIFICATIONS

MAG3 5-Axis Horizontal Machining Center

The MAG3 five-axis horizontal machining center is specifically designed for high productivity machining of complex aluminum monolithic parts for aerospace. It integrates spindle speed and power with a machine platform that provides rapid precision contouring capability while maximizing the percentage of the total time the spindle is cutting. The number of process variables related to the part production and the number of set ups are both minimized. The MAG3 has a proprietary industry-leading spindle design to ensure high metal removal rates. The MAG 3 can also be configured with an automatic pallet transfer and storage system in Makino’s highly flexible MMC system for extended periods of unattended operation.
