MAG3.W 5-axis horizontal machining center is specifically designed for high-productivity aerospace machining of complex aluminum monolithic parts.

With a larger Y-axis than the MAG3.EX, the MAG3.W 5-axis horizontal machining center further expands the work envelope for machining of complex aluminum monolithic parts. The MAG3.W can be integrated with an automatic pallet transfer and storage system for extended periods of unattended operation.

The MAG3.W integrates spindle speed and power with a machine platform that provides rapid precision-contouring capability while maximizing the percentage of in cut spindle time.  The compact spindle and short pivot point provided ideal five face work piece accessibility to minimize setups and process variation.

Industry-leading 33,000 rpm – 120kW spindle design, ensures high metal-removal rates. The MAG3.W can also be integrated with an automatic pallet transfer and storage system in Makino’s highly flexible MMC system that enables extended periods of unattended operation.
