Featuring superior rigidity from a factory-built, fully integrated “B over A” trunnion-type five-axis design, the a630iT’s rotary-axis arrangement simplifies machining operations with minimal part handling. The gear-driven A-axis provides a 240º range of motion, and the direct-drive B-axis allows full 360º rotation for reliable positioning of heavy workpieces.
A standard easy-to-operate automatic pallet changer (APC) increases machine utilization with manual and automated loading. Makino also offers single - and multi-machine pallet systems and custom robot automation to maximize productivity.
The a630iT is the first machine to offer Makino’s Fanuc-based Pro7 CNC control, which features a 24-inch full-HD touch screen, several 3D visual tools and the ability to integrate with system software for efficient operation. Makino’s patented Super Geometric Intelligence (SGI), which is standard on the a630iT, controls high-speed five-axis motion, providing the best surface finish in the lowest possible cycle time.
